Renders contents, including properties and sections, from documents that meet a given query constraint.

Dynamic lists, also known as automatic lists, allow to specify a query and list the documents in the result set in various forms.

  • Table
  • Numbered or bullet list
  • Definition list
  • Sections

Dynamic lists are special form of Dynamic Linking. Dynamic lists list a couple of references, while a dynamic link may only be one single link that is rendered or not dependent on the context at render time.

A short introduction on compiling projectdoc documents in dynamic lists using constraints.
Dynamic Linking
A document template that uses query macros enables documents to dynamically render links to a set of related documents. If new documents are added to the system that meet the query criteria, links to these documents are automatically added to the querying document. This feature is also called dynamic lists or automatic linking.
