Homepages of spaces typically show links to the homepages of doctypes on this or other spaces. The base configuration for this links is to not render if there is not at least one document. This prevents users from visiting a page that has actually no content.

This basic configuration can be overridden by this property so that for some spaces or users these links are shown despite of the local configuration.

Authors may add this property with a value of false to their personal homepage to always have quick access to even empty doctype homepages. The doctype homepages makes it easier for authors to add new documents.
