Improvements to refreshing pages.
Today we released version 5.0.13 of the projectdoc Toolbox.
This is release provides one bugfix and three improvements. The improvements adjust the process of refreshing pages. It is more graceful when encountering Confluence pages that are no projectdoc Documents. Prior versions of the projectdoc Toolbox would simply stop processing the subtree. This new version will continue to the leaves of the tree of pages.
The projectdoc Toolbox is an add-on for Confluence supporting agile software development teams to collaborate on process, project, system, and product documentation.

Due to the following issues a refresh is required to update properties of projectdoc documents in the database.

For some use cases we require means to check if the current page is the ancestor of a projectdoc document. We add a new artificial property intended to be used only internally with Name "RootPathPageIds" that contains all page ids from the parent document to the root document in the space. |
In case you do not use any of these features, there is no need for a refresh.

When running Rebuild via the admin screen the process does not process spaces that have not a homepage being a projectdoc document. In case users have projectdoc documents inside a space with a plain Confluence homepage, these pages won't be processed. |
