Descriptions of report files to be added to the archive. A number of standard descriptors automatically refer to well-known reports. Users can define their own descriptors easily.

Standard Project Meta Data

Per default the following reports are added to the attached artifact, if they are configured (plugins added to report section) with the project:

API Descriptor	Contains reports concerning the API of the artifact.	Codes Properties
Artifact Descriptor	Contains reports about the artifact.	Buildmetadata Release Notes
Marker Descriptor	Contains reports that mark source artifacts.	Taglist
Static Analysis Descriptor	Contains static analysis reports.	Checkstyle PMD Findbugs JavaNCSS JDepend Macker
Test Descriptor	Contains reports on tests.	JUnit Test Stories

Custom Project Meta Data

To add custom project meta data you have to provide a reference to a descritor file by the additionalDescriptorFiles property.

A project meta data descriptor has to be conform to the Projectmetadata XSD.
