Finally we managed to release an overview over the more than 40 macros of projectdoc for Confluence!

We have added some screenshots to the overview we had already published. This might give you a slightly closer look and understanding on what the macros are used for.

The video is a four minutes journey. If you prefer to take a self-paced walk, please have a look at the Prezi presentation. Details to the macros are found in the documentation.

So here we go … choose one of the presentations for an introduction to the projectdoc macros!

Here is a Prezi presentation to give you a gentle introduction to the Core Doctypes of projectdoc for Confluence!

It groups the doctypes semantically and introduces each of them briefly.

We are happy to announce the first beta release of the Enterprise Architect Maven Plugin. This plugin helps to use information stored in your Enterprise Architect model in other information systems. The plugin for Maven integrates the generation of diagrams into you Maven build process.

At smartics we use this plugin to generate UML diagrams and transclude them into our Confluence wiki. The projectdoc add-on for Confluence provides macros to integrate images from remote resources easily.

This graphic shows the ingredients to reference an exported image of an UML diagram from within a Conflunce wiki using projectdoc. For more information please refer to Enterprise Architect Image Link Macro.

The configuration config-smartics-alias for the alias-maven-plugin has been released with version 1.2.0.

Here is the link to the homepage of version 1.2.0 of this configuration project.

The new configuration provides aliases to work with the Atlassian SDK and generate diagrams from an Enterprise Architect model (stored in an EAP file) with the Enterprise Architect Maven Plugin.

For details please refer to the release notes.

The links above directs you to the currently released version of today. As time goes by, new versions of this software will be released. The versioned sites will still be available to provide you with the documentation for the version of the software you are actually using.

For each project there is a link that will always point to the homepage of the latest released version.

Today we updated the documentation for or Quote Macro, External Quote Macro, and Cite Macro! These macros are part of projectdoc addon for Confluence.

All three macros allow to quote or cite resources.

You may have a look at the updated Prezi presentation: projectdoc Macros. This presentation is a brief overview over the macros provided by projectdoc.

We are currently completing the documentation for our projectdoc addon’s macros. Today we finished the documentation on the Name List Macro, Tag List Macro and Wiki Link Macro.

These three macros have also been added to our Prezi presentation projectdoc Macros, which also works as our progress indicator.

Bubbles with screenshots inside are already completed.

We were planning the release of projectdoc V1 for Confluence by the end of October 2014. Unfortunately we had some extra work to do and the documentation stuff turned out to be more time consuming than expected. Therefore we have to adjust our schedule and set the new goal to the end of November.

We are attending the W-JAX in Munich, therefore we added another four weeks to not miss the target again. (sad) Sorry for the delay!
